Sue Lummus
Sue
Sue was born in Houston, but grew up in Athens, Louisiana, a realllly small town just Northeast of Shreveport. She grew up surrounded by music. Her father, uncles, sisters, and just about everybody in her family picked and sang at family get-togethers every chance they got..which was a lot! Traditional Country roots were established in her life from the start.

Sue met Don in the Fall of 1969, while he was part of the house band at a popular club in Northwest Houston called the Esquire Ballroom. It took a couple of weeks for it to sink into Don's mind that she was "The One", but that fact is pretty well instilled after recently celebrating their 32nd year together.

Sue was a bit shy about singing on stage for a few years, but now really enjoys it. She loves doing all the Classic "Lady" songs, plus a few of the more recent Traditional stuff. Of course, being the only level headed person in the band, she has the dubious responsibility of keeping the guys in line!
